Institutional Membership applications are reviewed before payment so that GARC can determine the appropriate membership category based on the organization's type, scale and membership requirements.
No payment is required at this stage.
Following review, GARC will provide the appropriate membership category, applicable annual membership fee and next steps.

Classification & Institutional Relationship
Universities, colleges and higher education institutions are classified under the University & Large Institution Membership category or above and are not eligible for the Independent Organization Membership category.
Institutional Membership does not automatically constitute a formal research, knowledge or strategic partnership with GARC.
